Discover the Cassidy™ Apple, APP262, a dazzling new variety first cultivated in 2017 by a pioneering orchardist in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand.

 

This apple captivates with its brilliant red skin and crisp, pure white flesh, offering a nearly full natural blush (80% to 100%).

Medium to large in size, the Cassidy™ Apple is as resilient as it is beautiful – sunburn tolerant, ensuring a dependable harvest every season.

 

With a delightful sweet with a slight hint of acidic flavor, it ripens early – typically between January 25th and February 7th – perfectly aligned with Hawke’s Bay’s abundant sunshine.

Grown exclusively in Hawke’s Bay on M9 and CG202 rootstocks, Cassidy™ Apple thrives in the region’s exceptional climate.

 

Cassidy™ is grown in limited quantities and marketed by two Hawke’s Bay exporters, helping ensure strong returns for growers. The variety continues to attract excellent demand, particularly in Asian markets.
